Staying inside the boundaries of the Island, but away from the touristic areas and walking along the outskirts, we find in Venice a kind of ordinariness of everyday life. But ordinariness somehow frozen in time, incredibly quiet, on this land deprived of cars. We feel also the austerity of northern Italy, its ocher colors. But still in a very own venetian identity, as green water, boats and bridges are everywhere, and churches or palace never far away.
